Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 08, 2026
Your data privacy is of utmost importance to NoteFlux. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our Android application ("App").
1. Local Storage and Encryption
NoteFlux was built with a Privacy-First approach. By default, all your notes, folders, and settings are stored exclusively locally on your device.
We do not have our own servers that store, process, or transmit your notes to third parties.
2. Google Drive Integration (Backup)
The App offers an optional cloud backup feature integrated with Google Drive.
- Scope used: NoteFlux requests the restricted
drive.appdatascope (Application Data Folder). - What does this mean? The App can only read and write files in its own hidden backup folder within your Google Drive. NoteFlux does not have access to any other personal files, photos, or documents stored in your Drive.
- How data is sent: Your data is exported and sent directly from your phone to Google's servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We (NoteFlux developers) do not have access to these backups.
3. Advertising (AdMob)
NoteFlux uses Google AdMob to display ads and monetize the app for free. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized ads. Google's use of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
4. System Permissions
- Internet: Required to display AdMob ads and for the optional Google Drive backup feature.
- Notifications / Alarms: Used exclusively locally to send alerts and reminders that you schedule yourself within the App.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We recommend that you review this page periodically for any changes.
