By downloading or using the NoteFlux app, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.
1. App Usage
NoteFlux is provided for your personal and non-commercial use. The app is designed to create and manage notes securely and locally. You are not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.
2. Third-Party Services and APIs
The app does use third-party services that declare their own Terms and Conditions, including:
- Google Play Services: For general functioning on Android.
- Google Drive API: Used exclusively if you enable the optional cloud backup feature (using the restricted
drive.appdatascope). We are not responsible for data loss arising from issues with your Google account. - Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements within the app.
3. Data Responsibility
NoteFlux stores your notes locally on your own device. We do not have access to your data. We strongly recommend that you use the Google Drive backup feature to protect your notes against loss, theft, or formatting of your device. NoteFlux is not responsible for lost data.
4. Limitations of Liability
NoteFlux tries to ensure that the app is always updated and correct, but we accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss you may experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
5. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
